Do you do home additions - without a remodel?

We do not do additions of any kind.  We work within the existing footprint of the home - but can expand into garage spaces.

Can I live in my home during my remodel?

It depends! For smaller-scale projects such as kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, etc., it is certainly possible to live in your home throughout your remodel. Though we won't paint a fairy tale picture for you-- being without a kitchen for a few months is indeed challenging. However, we do everything we can to make it work for you and your family and will make sure to find work-around solutions for the areas of your home and appliances you still need to access.  Sometimes we can move the refrigerator to another room.  If you only have 1 bathroom we do our best to keep it working during the project.  Most of our clients do stay in their homes unless they choose to stay somewhere else.

What time will daily work begin and end?

 Our craftsmen work as early as 7 am and as late as 5 pm. We will work with you to accommodate a schedule that is best for you and your family within that time frame. Sometimes they may need to work a weekend to stay on schedule, but we will always let you know before they come out.

Can work be scheduled on weekends?

 Most work is scheduled during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 7 am - 5 pm.

What kind of cleanup will take place at the end of each day?

A rough clean-up of your job site is done daily on all of our projects. We maintain the highest standards for our job sites and guarantee the cleanliness of all areas we work in within your home.

How much will my project cost?

We understand better than anyone that a driving factor for your remodel is cost. Cost does vary greatly from project to project. We really can't throw out an exact number over the phone but we will give you a ballpark to see if you would like us to come out to see your space and get you a realistic price. Once we give you a proposal with a price - that is the price.  We will make most of your selections prior to signing your contract so you know you are in budget.  We do not upcharge to complete the project as originally contracted. 

What is your approach to communication during the project?

Once we start, Mike is your job manager and keeps you updated. He will call, text and/or email with updates and questions.

Do you offer any warranties/ guarantees on your work?

We offer a 1-year warranty. Any manufacturer's warranties are conveyed to the homeowners.  If there are any problems just call and we will see what we can do.

What happens if I want to change my design?

It depends when you decide to make a change.  If things have not been ordered, changes are not a big deal.  Once the plan is finalized and fabrication starts (cabinets or countertops) it is more difficult and most likely will result in a cost increase.

Do you handle obtaining necessary permits?

We take care of permits and inspections.
